I'm hoping that I will be able to find an enactment society to come and join in the fun and games.
I wont be able to shoot until September now, with Dan being away on a film, but it does give me a bit of time to do some research and actually plan these things a bit better.
I'm having to go up to Stratford because the National Theatre Costume Hire company.....lovely people, don't have all the correct bits we need.
Here's a couple picture of Boris wearing a Spanish breastplate and an assortment of other bits we dug out. As I mentioned before we are missing the legs, so the idea was to get them sent down from Stratford, but it turns out that actually it will be much easier to just go up and fit the whole thing there and then have it sent down.
I have to admit, that I'm particularly looking forward to this sketch, I can't help but get excited about the prospect of standing in a field filming a bunch of people in a medieval battle.
For me its this exact kind of thing I love about the movies, dress up, roll around in the mud.....marvelous!
